Karla Meenan

Kili കിളി Ayurveda & Yug was founded by me, Karla, and is a labour of love that comes directly from my heart. My interest in yoga and ayurveda dates back to 1999 when I did my first block of yoga lessons in Dublin. Since then, it has knocked on my door and tried to lure me in but it wasn't until I was ready to take my mental health and well-being seriously back in 2015 that I felt ready. Although in saying that progress is never linear and this is very true for me -at times I would take 2 steps forward and 3 steps back- but deep down l knew what I wanted in life and still do and have converted my hobby/passion into my life purpose.A teacher once told me that "You don't choose yoga, it chooses you" and I feel this is very true in my case. Since then, I have studied extensively for the past 8-9 years in Europe and India and am certified in Pilates Mat and Studio, Hatha vinyasa yoga, Navakaraṇa Vinyasa, Pranayama, Meditation, Yoga Nidra and sound healing therapy. I am a qualified Ayurvedic Practitioner having completed Marma Therapy studies, Advanced Panchakarma Therapy Studies and clinical practice in India.Everything I have studied is related and intertwined and I would love to share my holistichealing practice with you. Come, join me on a journey to a healthier you!P.S Kili കിളി means bird in Malayalam a dialect in Kerala, India. Some locals gave me that nickname when I was there- they said I was like a free bird so this is my nod to them :)
