Hi, I’m Krista Maltais. Over the past 18+ years, I’ve worked with thousands of perinatal families, mentored hundreds of aspiring postpartum doulas, and continue to be a passionate advocate for family support!In 2015, during it’s inaugural year, I was honored to receive the DONA International designation of Advanced Postpartum Doula (AdvPCD); I remain one of only four holding this credential within the organization. I am also one of only fourteen Certified Postpartum Doula Trainers (PDT) through DONA International as well as an Advanced Lactation Consultant (ALC) through the Academy of Lactation Policy and Practice.In 2013, I took my Trainer Training and facilitated my first Postpartum Doula Workshop in 2017. Since then, I have had the privilege of supporting hundreds of people on their path to become professional postpartum doulas. Most recently, I became the DONA International Director of Membership in 2023 and will serve my term on the Board of Directors through 2027.I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Family Studies from the University of New Hampshire and am the Owner/Founder of Relief - Parenting Respite & Resource Center in Hampton, New Hampshire.
