Ksenya Dorwart - Make It Happen Events

The Special Event Coordinator is a contract role with the City of Quesnel, funded by the North Cariboo Recreation and Parks Service. Created in 2018, this position is responsible for producing and managing events for the City of Quesnel and the Cariboo Regional District, as well as offering support to external event organizers and community groups. The Coordinator’s duties encompass both direct event planning and collaboration with other entities looking to host major events, such as tournaments, conferences, and community gatherings. Depending on the event and the needs of the organizing group, the Coordinator’s involvement can range from offering expert advice to handling comprehensive event management.
