Mecca Live Studio & Gallery

Through its classes and the many workshops it has hosted, Mecca has provided a much needed niche in the Lexington Community for multicultural forms of dance. Regular classes at Mecca have included Tribal style belly dance, Flamenco, Hula Hooping, Poi Spinning, as well as specialty classes such as Modern and Ancient Hula, African, Hand Drumming, Bollywood, and Samba which make it onto the schedule at various times. Mecca has played host to many internationally renowned dancers and artists including Belly Dance Super Stars: Rachel Brice, Zoe Jakes, Mardi Love, Carolena Nerricio, the director of FatChanceBellyDance,, Dalia Carella, Jill Parker, Heather Stants, Mira Betz and Liz Strong as well as internationally renowned musicians and recording artists, Tobias Roberson, Dan Cantrell, Ryan Francisconi, Raquy Danziger, Liron Peled, and many many more...Mecca is currently located at 3270 Nicholasville Rd.
