Michele Tessier

Michele is an Executive Coach, Consultant, and Mentor who helps women, men, and youth in the areas of leadership mindset, values, goal-setting, and emotional intelligence.Hailing from the small town of Grand Bank, Newfoundland, Michele took a chance and joined the Navy after completing a Bachelor of Arts degree at Memorial University. Her 25+ years in uniform presented countless opportunities to lead, coach, and mentor. She was the third woman in the history of the Canadian Navy to be appointed to command of a seagoing ship and retired in 2021 after four command appointments. In 2017, the Women's Executive Network named Michele as one of "Canada's Most Powerful Women - Top 100", and she was appointed to the Order of Military Merit in 2018.A seasoned public speaker, Michele aims to bring like-minded people together to share, learn, support, and grow through events like seminars, speaker summits, retreats, and group coaching with a focus on values, values-based leadership, and emotional intelligence.
