Der Verein nextReality.Hamburg e.V. hat das Ziel, die Hansestadt Hamburg in Sachen XR-Technologie weiter voranzubringen! Dafür setzt sich der Verein für die Interessen der hier ansässigen Unternehmen ein und steht als Ansprechpartner rund um die bunte Welt der immersiven Medien zur Verfügung. Getragen wird der gemeinnützige Verein von der Stadt Hamburg.Eine Kernaufgabe besteht darin, Berührungsängste rund um VR- und AR-Technologien abzubauen, aufzuklären und zu vernetzen. Dafür veranstaltet der Verein regelmäßig Meetups, bietet Unternehmer:innen im eigenen Blog, Podcast und Social Media Kanälen eine Plattform, verleiht mit dem nextReality.Contest jährlich den höchstdotierten Branchenpreis in Deutschland (www.nextRealityContest.de) und veranstaltet eine eigene Fachkonferenz: nextReality.Conference.+++The nextReality.Hamburg e.V. association aims to advance the city of Hamburg in terms of XR technology. The association advocates for the interests of local businesses and serves as a contact point for the diverse world of immersive media. The non-profit association is supported by the city of Hamburg. One of its main tasks is to reduce fear and misconceptions about VR and AR technologies, educate and network. To achieve this, the association regularly hosts meetups, provides entrepreneurs with a platform through its own blog, podcast and social media channels, awards the highest-funded industry award in Germany with the nextReality.Contest and organizes its own professional conference, the nextReality.Conference.
