Rania Al-Najjar is a dedicated nurse and author from Chicago who has made significant strides in promoting health literacy, particularly within the Black community. A graduate of the University of Illinois at Chicago with a Master of Science in Nursing, she currently serves as a forensic and critical care nurse on the west side of Chicago. Beyond her clinical work, Al-Najjar is the creator of the Nurse Rania children’s book series, which aims to educate young readers about health topics and inspire future healthcare professionals.
