Rainbow Auckland

Since 1984, Rainbow Auckland has been New Zealand’s largest LGBTTQIA+ membership association providing support and advocacy on human rights issues, and safe, inclusive business networking opportunities for the rainbow community. Membership is open to business organisations, community groups, business owners and executives, professionals, academics, diplomats, politicians, media, artists and entertainers, and non-LGBTTQIA+ members who actively support the Rainbow business community. Membership includes free entry to regular mixer events, social and professional networking, and promoting LGBTTQIA+ projects and activities.Objectives for Rainbow Auckland:Network, navigate and guide businesses, professionals, communities, and Rainbow allies, to promote the awareness, acceptance, support and prosperity of Rainbow Businesses and professionals in Auckland.Empower effective, empathic leadership, from grass-roots entrepreneurs, individual professionals, small enterprises to corporates, to set a standard of inclusiveness and visibility of Rainbow communities.Provide a platform for Rainbow Auckland’s life members and seniors (65+) to share their connections, resources, and institutional knowledge, to enrich Rainbow Auckland and its members.Strategically align with other organisations, individuals, and communities.Build a sustainable network of Rainbow business, professionals, and communities for the betterment of Aotearoa as a place where diversity and Rainbow rights are respected and embraced.
