Ran Jacobovitz

Playing the drums since 1995, Ran studied at Rimon School for Jazz & Contemporary Music before moving forward to his life as a professional musician. For the past 20 years he has been a highly sought-after drummer for both live and studio work. He has played in countless projects along the years- ranging from round-the-world touring Folk/Rock/Indie/Electro bands, major veteran and contemporary artists alike, Theater productions and studio recordings for dozens of albums and hundreds of singles.Some of his previous/current work and collaborations include high profile international artists such as Noga Erez, Lola Marsh and Asaf Avidan to name a few, all of whom he has been touring the world with since 2016 and has been featured with on the stages of some of the biggest festivals in the world including Primavera Sound, Roskilde, Sziget, Womad, Melt, Les Eurockéennes, SXSW, Pitchfork, Electric Castle, Hurricane, Southside, Colors of Ostrava, Zürich Open Air, Puls, Fusion and dozens more.On top of conducting ensemble workshops Ran is also a passionate drumming educator teaching privately at his studio in Friedrichshain."The beats are provided live by Ran, the most in-demand drummer in town.
