Roger Eichler, Operations Director, Trojans Trek

As a veteran of the NSW Police Force, I became extremely unwell from not only significant PTSD, but also loss of identity and my career.After many years of struggling to cope and seeing many professionals who only suggested traditional methods of treating my mental health issues, I discovered Trojans Trek, a veteran led program who helped with my recovery to becoming healthier, and a better person.I became a champion for Trojans Trek and became a mentor and facilitator, and now, Director of Operations.At Trojan’s Trek, we work towards supporting a profound transformation in the lives of current and former serving military and emergency service personnel and to aid their recovery from service induced trauma, and to re-discover that we have an identity outside of what our career has led us to believing it may be, and to being a loving and caring person and being back intouch with those that we love and care for.
