Rose Kantiono

Rose Kantiono is an educational, community, and humanitarian leader. Originally from Burkina Faso and Côte d'Ivoire (West Africa), she studied and worked in Germany before immigrating to Canada.Rose was twice the recipient of the Teacher Award of Distinction from the Peel Board, in 2013 and 2020. She occupied various leadership positions on school boards, Peel teachers' local (PETL), and the provincial federation (ETFO). Rose is a former chair of the International Assistance Standing Committee of the Elementary Teachers' Federation of Ontario (ETFO).Humanitarian leader, Rose served as a board director, advisor, project, and volunteer coordinator in the non for profit organization Canadian Samaritans for Africa (CSA).Rose is a well known leader in her community, where she enjoys supporting newcomers, teachers, the homeless and the youth.Countries of experience: Canada, Germany, France, Burkina Faso, Côte d'Ivoire, Barbados, Kenya, Uganda, Nigeria, South Sudan, and the Central Republic of Africa.
