Rotary Bengaluru IT Corridor (RBITC) is based out of Whitefield and is engaged in various social initiatives in and around Bengaluru. A service club which brings together business and professional leaders to provide humanitarian services, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations and help build goodwill and peace in the world. It is a secular organization open to all persons regardless of race, colour, creed, gender or political preference. The club has implemented numerous successful projects serving the community at large. In the last seven years of its existence, it has implemented and conducted several Community Service Projects:Work with 16 Government schools in the Whitefield area (covering 3,000+ kids)Conduct blood donation camps regularly (last year collected over 8,000 units)Sponsored corrective surgeries for ‘bread winners’ with permanent vertebral deformationWork with the local population in arresting glaucoma and other eye ailmentsEPIC – Epilepsy Prevention and Integrated Care.A multidisciplinary approach to give free medical & surgical treatment to patients with Epilepsy in economically weaker sections of society.
