I am a Certified Clinical Herbalist of the Vitalist school of thought. My particular calling and desire within my field is to reach out to parents, children, and young families to steward their journeys toward more intentional, holistic, and traditional health practices. In herbalism school, I wrote my thesis paper on Vitalist Herbalism for Children's Health; after I graduated, I began working as a Waldorf preschool teacher with a particular focus on the toddler age group. Through my experience in the toddler and early childhood classrooms, I was able to witness so many of the developmental milestones, emotional challenges, and common health issues that present themselves during these unique and precious years. I got to know many parents and families with a hunger for education and knowledge on what practices and remedies they could incorporate at home to bolster their children's health and overall wellness. I began designing a series of classes to address that community need, and I'm honored to be able to present those now.
