Schön Mas - A German word, and its meaning is the word beautiful ( Carnival is culture, culture is art, art is beauty).The Theme Faluma 2025 - stands as the creative heart of Schön—a name of African origin that carries the weight of history and the triumph of survival. “Faluma,” meaning slavery, is not chosen to dwell in sorrow but to rise from it. It acknowledges the pain of the past while uplifting the strength, courage, and cultural richness of those who came before. Through Faluma, the team channels ancestral legacy into vibrant expression—every dance step, every feather, every rhythm, a declaration of pride and liberation.Our 2025 Presentation: “Faluma”1. Alafia: Chains of FreedomAn evocative portrayal of breaking free—this section honors the transition from bondage to self-empowerment.
