Shipyard Trust for the Arts' mission revolves around the large and diverse community of visual artists, musicians and writers who have been working in studios at the historic Hunters Point Shipyard for more than 40 years. Keeping the studios affordable, facilitating arts education and exhibitions that involve people from our surrounding Bayview Hunters Point community and promoting programs and activities inspired by the intimate setting of artists' individual studios comprise the focus of our work. Our goal is to promote this vibrant San Francisco cultural institution to the local and regional community and increase business opportunities for our artists.Shipyard Trust for the Arts – CONNECTING ART AND COMMUNITY
