SHPE Detroit

The Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers - Detroit Chapter is committed to empower and uplift the broader Hispanic community by addressing two critical areas: education and career development. We accomplish this through mentoring programs and community involvement, where the organization encourages students to pursue and excel in educational paths that lead to successful careers in STEM fields. We also aim to bridge gaps in access to resources, opportunities, and support, particularly for students from lower-income backgrounds. Finally, we enhance career opportunities by cultivating a strong professional network, fostering collaboration, and opening doors to opportunities within various industries.
