Sofia Pila

Born and raised in a Swedish town called Falköping, she grew up in a musical family and discovered she has a gift for listening to sound and feeling music. Music has always been in her veins, from picking up a guitar her father gave her and intuitively playing from the age of 3, to listening to her brother play the drums — she now attributes her success as a self taught music artist. Her melodious soundscapes infuse instruments such as guitar, bass guitar, drums, percussion, piano, and handpan. Sofia is also trained as a sound healer using Crystal Sound Bowls, Tibetan Singing Bowls, Gongs, that are multi-layered with native percussion instruments.Drawing from her own Yoga practice of 15 years, she began experiencing the enriching effects that Yoga brought to her life. From healing layers of past trauma and self-sabotaging tendencies, she began a healing journey gaining self respect, authentic expression, self love and an expansion of union with all living beings. Inspired by this transformative effect Sofia became a Yoga teacher and Life Coach, and has since been teaching Hatha/Vinyasa, Yin and Trauma Informed Yoga as well as offering Sound Therapy for over 13 years. She feels guided to bring inspiration and light into people's lives and create a space for healing to occur through her live music immersions and yoga movement practices.
