Founded by João Batarda and Svenja Gres, TOKA STUDIO is a space for hands-on artistic exploration. From exhibitions and events to workshops and courses, this creative hub welcomes all levels of experience and anyone looking to discover or deepen their artistic side.João and Svenja met during a painting course at Ar.Co – one of Portugal’s leading independent art schools, located in Lisbon. Their shared passion for art sparked a creative connection that has grown through ongoing collaborations and a shared artistic journey. This partnership became the foundation of TOKA STUDIO — a space born of friendship, experimentation, and a belief in the power of artistic community.Art happens here — slowly, boldly, together.
