Founded by Christina Brown. We have a dedicated lens to support and raise awareness on perinatal and maternal mental health. We provide free mental health sessions to mothers delivered by their psychologists.The Motivational Mums Club has a dedicated pathway for Black Mother with their peer support group called Mummas Together.We aim to address inequality and make services equitable for Black and Brown women and birthing people in Bexley, Greenwich, Lewisham, Dartford and Medway.We provide information on the services on offer for those in attendance but also gather feedback on the services they have accessed with the aim to share services for the better in partnership with the local NHS Trust.This FREE group provides a relaxed and informal setting for Mums to meet one another and speak with members of the following teams whilst children play in a dedicated play area: community mental health, infant feeding, pelvic health, maternity, health visiting and more.We run yearly conferences to present our findings from our peer support group to provide training and awareness to all healthcare professional on the importance of building meaningful relationship with Community Leader like Christina Brown and a relationship with the Black Community of Mothers.
