The Red Tent Collective is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization and a community support initiative that offers evidence-based, trauma-focused, woman-informed, and ancestrally-conscious monthly mini-retreats to women in Virginia Beach.Our mission is to advance women’s health, increase women’s access to care, and promote woman-formed health care to further women’s physical, emotional, and spiritual liberation.Every month on the new moon, we host multiple generations and cultural backgrounds in one room to heal in unity, foster the sisterhood essence, stir mutual ascension, and ensure the passing down of our stories. Our monthly retreats combine ancestral, alternative, and conventional interventions to arouse women’s wellness, support the presence of women-informed practitioners, honor woman’s unique path to restoration, and defend the individual and collective feminine essence.The Red Tent Collective believes that women are the heart of the community and the medicine that the world is seeking. It believes that the individual wellness of every woman supports the integrity and the well-being of society at large. As a collective, we use our areas of expertise, from conventional and ancestral methods to help women access the power within that has been buried beneath generational trauma, systems, and life experiences.Because when a woman touches her own light, she ultimately heals herself and others.
