Treasure Chest York

Treasure Chest Breastfeeding Group aims to promote, support and encourage breastfeeding in the York area, established in 2005 by a group of health professionals and local York parents who had an interest in breastfeeding and in helping others to breastfeed.We are a not for profit organisation in York, run entirely by volunteers and funded by donations.Our trained Peer Supporters are all parents who are passionate about breastfeeding with at least six months’ breastfeeding experience.If you’d like to speak to a Peer Supporter you can find them at one of our support groups, on the hospital ward as part of their hospital support visits, and at our antenatal workshops. We also have a social group on Facebook called 'Treasure Chest & Beyond'
