University of Maryland Extension (UME) is the "outreach arm" of the University-- bringing reliable, research-based, non-biased information, resources, and events to you in your community.There is an Extension office in every county and in Baltimore City. Each office offers a variety of different programs, services, and specialties based on the needs of the areas being served. Programs are usually offered in-person for various groups and some are able to be delivered online.
