Vibha Dallas

Vibha is a 501(3)(c) non-profit organization among the 0.4% of nonprofits with a Platinum rating for Transparency.*Vision* - High-Quality Public Education for Every Child*Mission* : Educate, EMPOWER, Enable- Improving Learning Levels in Government Schools by providing proven scaling solutions*Impact Details* :In 2024 we impacted 1.9 Million children. Since 1991 , 6.7 million kids have been impacted. In 2025 we want to impact 2.5 million*How does Vibha do this?*Challenge: There are 131 Million children study at Government schools and the learning levels in these schools are low. Studies show that 70% of these students cannot read, write or math at their grade level. For example, 70% of the Grade 5 students studying at government schools are not even at Grade 2 level in local language, English or Math!Vibha are taking on this challenge 1) by fundraising for the cause 2) by using proven solutions to support schools, teachers and students, 3) by providing trainings, study materials and digital resources, 4) by working within the education system in partnership with the state governments, 5)by being inclusive, fearless and action-oriented. Our collaborative mindset has created this massive network of ‘partners for change’, which includes state governments, knowledge partners, India team members, donors and 1000+ volunteers (youth and adults).*About the festival:*This is the 19th year we have hosted this flagship event which brings the Dallas Fort Worth community together for a totally fun afternoon - where there will be talent on display, vendors , awesome food , kids activities and most important kites to be flown. Kites are symbols of freedom, liberation, or soaring high above limitations.Flying a kite can be a metaphorical representation of breaking free from constraints and reaching for new heights. All of which Vibha tries to do through Education!
