Wallace Green

WallACE is the organizer and founder of Health & Awareness, which has served seniors and the unfortunate community since 2009. While spending eight years on dialysis, they advocated for the National Kidney Foundation and Dialysis Patients Citizens. Wallace started their prevention of kidney disease at the people-to-people level, based on information that everyone could understand. This approach helped individuals communicate better with their medical professionals and understand the importance of taking an active role in their healthcare. Raising awareness of chronic kidney disease symptoms and reading lab test results at an early stage increases prevention. While waiting for a kidney transplant, they served as an advocate with Donate Life Virginia and LifeNet Health. Wallace hosts three events each year: World Kidney Day, Bowl 4 Kidneys & Organ Donation, and the popular Family Caregiver program. Each event includes lots of fun.
