All major e-wallets (GCash, MAYA, GrabPay, and ShopeePay) are supported by Eventsize in the Philippines today.
As part of our continuous effort to allow organizers to easily collect payments for their events, we are excited to announce that Eventsize now supports e-wallet payments for all events in The Philippines.
This comes after a myriad of e-wallet payments such as Touch n' Go were added for Malaysia.
With this new addition, event attendees can now securely make payments for event tickets using GCash, GrabPay, MAYA, and ShopeePay during the checkout process.
As of 2022, there were an estimated 58 million active e-wallet users in the Philippines, with this number expected to reach 81 million by 2025.
Aside from e-wallets, organizers can also collect payments via standard payment methods such as:
In the coming weeks, our team expects to further increase the number of available payment methods to also include direct bank debits.
At the same time, Eventsize will also be introducing automated Viber reminders to seamlessly notify attendees of any of their upcoming event(s). The Viber reminders work similarly to our automated WhatsApp reminders.
E-wallet payments go live today for all events in Philippines (hosted in Philippine Peso currency), and there is no additional setup or customization required on the organizers' end.
Event organizers can now reach their followers and imported contacts (CSV) in just a few clicks.
Organizers can choose to allow select participants in to the event after they "Request to Join" the event during the registration (RSVP) process.
Organizers in Singapore can now sell tickets and receive payments from attendees using the popular PayNow payment method.
