History - La Union Protectiva Femenina was established in 1923 by local Hispanic women from Santa Fe and Northern New Mexico to assisttheir hermanas in need with burial expenses. The daughters, granddaughters, and great-granddaughters, nieces and friends continue the tradition and celebrate the women who led before us. We continue the legacy of our founding hermanas.Historia - La Union Protectiva Femenina fue establecida en 1923 por mujeres hispanas locales de Santa Fe y el norte de Nuevo México para yudar a sus hermanas necesitadascon los gastos de entierro.Las hijas, nietas y bisnietas, sobrinas y amigas continúan la tradición y celebran a las mujeres que lideraron antes que nosotros.
