100 WOMEN+ WHO CARE OTTAWA

It's so simple. Four times a year, 100 women gather and donate $100 each. Conduct a one hour meeting. Choose a charity and immediately invest $10,000. Giving made easy and fun!Driven by a desire to make a difference and inspired by other successful 100+ Women Who Care groups around the world including our own 100 Men Who Care Ottawa,we created a local philanthropic group of dynamic women determined to build a strong community.Our giving circle began in April 2014 when two groups of women joined forces to launch something special. Our inaugural meeting was May 5, 2014 where over 100+ women gathered raising $11,925 in one hour! Today, we have raised over $315,555 for local charities and we are just getting started!We are an informal, grassroots group of women who want to make a difference. Our local chapter and events are led by an Executive Committee of dedicated volunteers. We host four events annually. Three local charities present at each event and members choose their charity.100% of funds raised go directly to the charities. Our goal is to support the important work of our local charities through funding and providing exposure in a simple and time effective manner. We bring together Ottawa's caring women to network, learn and give.​​​​​​
