5engineering, LLC

5engineering was funded by Elizabeth Parent and Kelly Humphries in 2011. The “5” in 5engineering is in honor of the creation day of the company, Cinco de Mayo (May 5th). The firm began providing hydrology and hydraulics services; then branched into water and wastewater services in 2013. In 2016, the firm added coastal and navigation engineering services and in 2022 the firm hired Michael Bloom to expand into sustainability and resilience planning and design consulting.
