AAUW Redlands CA Branch is an affiliate organization of The American Association of University Women. AAUW is the nation's leading voice promoting equity and education for women and girls. Since our founding in 1881, AAUW members have examined and taken positions on the fundamental issues of the day - educational, social, economic, and political. Founded in 1947, the Redlands Branch of AAUW is dedicated to advancing equity for women and girls through education, empowerment, and advocacy. We meet monthly to hear fascinating speakers on current topics. We are happy to have the University of Redlands, Crafton Hills College, and San Bernardino Valley College as college/university partner members. We fund educational opportunities for women and girls, legal advocacy to promote equality for women in higher education, and impact public policy at the local, state, national and world level through lobbying and grassroots efforts to break through educational and economic barriers for women.
