Our mission is to promote sustainable practices, enhance ecological integrity, and support the development of resilient infrastructure through effective vegetation management strategies.Who We AreAGVPR is a nonprofit organization [501(c)(3), registration number 527527] that serves as a hub for professionals, organizations, and stakeholders engaged in vegetation management. By providing a platform for education, innovation, and collaboration, we aim to address Puerto Rico’s unique environmental challenges while fostering a stronger, more connected community of practitioners.What We DoAGVPR focuses on:Education and Training: Hosting workshops, seminars, and conferences to equip individuals with the latest knowledge and best practices in vegetation management.Research and Innovation: Supporting studies and initiatives that promote sustainable and effective vegetation management techniques.Collaboration and Networking: Bringing together stakeholders from various sectors to exchange ideas, share experiences, and address common challenges.Public Engagement: Educating the community about the importance of vegetation management for infrastructure resilience, environmental preservation, and public safety.Key ObjectivesEncourage the proper use of vegetation management techniques to improve infrastructure reliability and environmental sustainability.Promote ecological soundness through the responsible utilization of vegetation management practices.Facilitate the exchange of ideas, experiences, and information among professionals and stakeholders in Puerto Rico.Serve as a resource for public education on environmentally sound vegetation management.Provide scientific and educational advancement opportunities for our members.
