The Injury Prevention (IP) program goal is to reduce injury morbidity and mortality among Alaska Native people, work with partners and Tribal health organizations to promote safe, healthy living through advocacy, education, training and technical support.The program’s areas of focus include suicide prevention, drowning prevention, fall prevention, poisoning prevention and transportation safety.
