The Alliance for Wilderness Engagement (AWE) believes that rekindling the deep connection between humanity and our more-than-human world will give us a profound sense of place for our own stories within the unfolding story of our planet at this time of the Great Turning..Founded in 2022 as a community ministry grounded in Unitarian Universalist values, we provide opportunities for transformative experiences through guided outdoor immersion programs, including:Guided Forest Therapy Circles and Guided Night Sky / Stargazing Circles;Seasonal Celebration Circles to honor the Turning of the Year, andSpeaking engagements, pulpit supply, and worship services themed around the Universe Story, Nature & Forest Therapy, and Wilderness Spirituality..Our vision is for our work to help write a story of renewal into our future.
