Amanda Decker

I am a nurse practitioner with over 17 years of experience in primary care and weight management. Around 2015 I became burnt out, and was ready to leave clinical practice. Instead of leaving I doubled down and obtained advanced education in obesity and metabolic health. This changed my practice outlook. However, in 2021 it be came apparent that the message of health was not getting out to the masses fast enough. I was reaching one person at a time in the clinic, but I could do more. So at a conference in January of 2022 Dr. Ken Berry and I decided to create an event in our area. "Low Carb for Better Health" was born. Year one was a whirl-wind, low tech, cheap and amazing. 2023 its getting real!
