Ann Arbor Chapter - Jack and Jill of America, Inc.

In January 1938, Marion Stubbs Thomas embarked on a visionary journey alongside twenty-one mothers in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Since its humble beginnings, our organization has blossomed into a national force, upholding our founder's ethos of fostering meaningful connections among children. The Ann Arbor Chapter of Jack and Jill, Incorporated, emerged as a beacon of this mission in 1978, following the dedication of two local mothers, Lola M. Jones and Barbara A. Robinson. Like the pioneering mothers before us, our programming commits to cultivating leadership, critical thinking, volunteerism and community stewardship, social justice, financial literacy, and activism amongst our members. Together, we strive to create a future where every child can thrive, empowered by their heritage, community, and sense of purpose. Join us on this journey of enrichment and empowerment, as we shape tomorrow's leaders, one experience at a time.
