Artist and creative professional based in Kona, Hawaii with over a decade of experience in community outreach, project development and coordination.My degrees are in Art & Anthropology, with focus on how different cultures express themselves through visual language. I'm interested in the story art tells about people - their behaviors, values & beliefs. Over the years I've worked as an Art Educator, Program Director, Grant and Media Writer, Exhibit and Special Events Coordinator, Project Manager & Interior Designer, moonlighting as boat crew for coastal tours, while raising a family and making art in stolen moments (usually late at night).I work as a freelance Interior Designer on residential & commercial projects in West Hawaii. "My designs investigate how physical environments shape experiences, tell stories, reflect values and ultimately influence quality of life.
