Athena Society

The Athena Society is an organization of Tampa Bay professional women who have demonstrated leadership in the community and committed themselves to promote equality and opportunity for women. Founded in 1976 to support passage of the Equal Rights Amendment, it remains true to its shared purpose today. The Athena Society is dedicated to creating a forum for interaction and collaboration and to improving the status of women through equality, broader acceptance of women in business, the professions, and other positions of responsibility, and expanded educational and career development opportunities.
