Baitul Mukarram Islamic Society (BMIS) is a non-profit registered Muslim charitable organization that provides a range of social services to the local community in British Columbia. Aside from prayer and outreach services, we offer voluntary teaching and learning of basic Islamic education, including recitation of the Holy Quran for all ages with Tajweed and understanding its meaning.The organization has a vision and strong motivation for establishing a grand mosque to serve the growing Muslim community in the Greater Lower Mainland in BC. Our aim is to develop a strong community based on Quranic teachings and the prophetic Sunnah, upholding and practicing Islamic values and culture to succeed here and hereafter.
