Beaumont & District Agricultural Society

The Beaumont and District Agricultural Society (BADAS) is a 'not-for-profit organization' registered under provincial legislation — the Agricultural Societies Act of Alberta. Agricultural Societies help in the development of the communities in which their members live and work. Our Vision is to improve the quality of life by fostering a biodiverse ecosystem and advancing urban agriculture for future generations. From this perspective, our Mission is to provide diverse facilities, programs, services, and events that connect people to nature-based, environmental and agricultural experiences.We host several Free events each year, including our Spring Kick-Off and Plant Sale, May 17 11-3pm and Open Farm Days Aug 16th, and Rural Roots Fair Aug 23, 2025 and Harvest Festival.Our newest facility, the Urban Agriculture Centre (UAC) is opening this season at our Spring Kick-off and is now hosting workshops, educational programs, youth and seniors programs, birthday party and family reunion rentals and more. We are partnering with others to bring our region nature-based experiences to support a sustainable and healthy community.
