Becky Walker Scholarship

The Becky Walker Scholarship Foundation was founded in 2019 in memory of Becky Walker who passed from pancreatic cancer in February of 2019. We are a non-profit 501C3* organization providing scholarships to graduating seniors at Spoto High School, a Title 1 school in Tampa, FL where Becky was the science department head. The foundation has raised $229,000 since inception. Each year, we distribute 2x scholarships of $10,000 over a four year period awarded to two Spoto High School seniors who demonstrate exceptional academic and extra-curricular achievement, community service, and the financial need for tuition assistance.
