Beyond Vision Art

What most sighted people don't know is that mobility and doing things for ones self isn't the only hard part about going blind, there can also be a lot of boredom. While accessibility is improving, most entertainment options are geared toward a visual experience. Museums and galleries are strictly hands-off art venues. Multi-Sensory art encourages a hands ON tactile experience for those who can't see with their eyes. Our founder and curator lost her sight completely in 2021 after slowly going blind over a period of 5 years. She has since dedicated herself to creating accessible art and art spaces geared toward the visually impaired for both patrons of the arts, and visually impaired artists.
