Appointed as SG Cares Volunteer Centre@ Sembawang. We aspire to support well beings of vulnerable seniors in SembawangWe support multi-racial seniors of various mobility to stay active in the community.We believe that everyone should have an equal chance to have an active and fulfilling life and we offer different programmes for seniors of different profiles.Our programmes include:Support frail and home-bound Seniors to continue to live in the community despite their frailty: Transport Kaki : Medical Escort and Transport-MET (Partnering Agency For Integrated Care)Engage & recruit Active Seniors to be volunteers, empower them to serve the needy Seniors.: Blossom KakiSenior Volunteerism Program Partnering PARTNERING COUNCIL FOR THIRD AGE (C3A)Engage Seniors to embrace a purposeful life by ageing positively and continue leading healthy and active lives while they advance in age.(Active Ageing Programmes: Partnering Agency For Integrated Care)Promote active ageing and cultural awareness through the learning of different cultures amongst multi-racial seniors.(Cultural Programmes: Partnering : Community Chest)Provide structured befriending services and psycho-social support through volunteers in the community for needy elderly and their caregivers (Community Befriending Programme -CBP, C3A)Be the key point of contact for social health matters for clients and their care(Active Ageing Centre - AAC: Partnering Agency For Integrated Care)Promote and encourage community participation in caring for the needy elderly.
