BoysGrow

BoysGrow is a Kansas City nonprofit that uses farming and agriculture to teach entrepreneurship to Kansas City’s urban male youth. The program gives young men an opportunity to earn a paycheck while working on a functional farm. Our boys essentially run a small business, by selling their value-added products to local restaurants and grocery stores around town. Through BoysGrow, the young men learn critical vocational skills and experience an array of different potential careers including Agriculture, Culinary Arts, Construction and Sales. Today, BoysGrow produce is currently available in more than 30 Kansas City-area locations.
