Brevard County Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.

Founded on December 4, 1906 at Cornell University in Ithaca, NY, Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. is the first Black, inter-collegiate Greek-lettered fraternity.Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. develops leaders, promotes brotherhood and academic excellence while providing service and advocacy for our communities.With your help, Alpha Phi Alpha Scholarship Fund has given out over $80,000 in scholarships over the years. We have also continued to serve Brevard County, Florida and beyond through numerous programs partnering with Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. including:•Go-to-High-School, Go-to-College– A program concentrating on the importance of completing secondary and collegiate education as a road to advancement.•A Voteless People is a Hopeless People– Voter education and registration outreach activities also including political awareness and empowerment.•Project Alpha– A collaborative project designed to provide education, motivation and skill-building on issues of responsibility, relationships, teen pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases for young males ages 12-15 years.The Iota Beta Lambda Chapter was chartered in Brevard County, FL on November 11, 1966 and has been thriving ever since! With brothers from all over the country, we continue to uphold the aims of our fraternity:  Manly Deeds, Scholarship, and Love for All Mankind.Join us throughout the year as we strive to make a positive impact in the community and in the world!
