Broward Trust for Historic Preservation

Broward Trust for Historic Preservation is a privately funded, non-profit organization based in Broward County, Florida. The original Sailboat Bend Trust founded our member-supported organization. On May 26, 1995, the Trust filed for a domestic non-profit corporation with the State of Florida; subsequently, Broward Trust for Historic Preservation was formed and is celebrating our thirtieth anniversary.Our focus has always been to keep track of historic buildings, neighborhoods, districts, and heritage. We accomplish this by identifying these historic resources through research, education, advocacy, and designations with owner approval.
