Caring Contact

Founded in 1975, Caring Contact has been providing opportunities for people to express themselves to compassionate listeners in a safe environment for 50 years. Caring Contact has responded to the988 Suicide & Crisis Lifelinesince its founding as the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline in 2005. We answer calls from Bergen, Essex, Middlesex, Morris, Passaic, Somerset, and Union counties in New Jersey. We also answer a non-emergency warm line. In 2024 we answered 13,352 crisis calls and 8,184 warm line calls.
