Welcome to County Carlow Environmental Network (CCEN). We are a group of volunteers with shared values for the planet we live on, and our local environment.We meet on the first Tuesday of each month online or in person. Please see our contact page to be added to our email list.Our aim is to enhance the physical and social environment of County Carlow with particular reference to:-Raising awareness of environmental issues.Providing leadership and practical action under the Irish Environmental Network themes to minimise the environmental impact of Carlow and its environs’, assisting in the sustainable development in our County.Making links with local political, social and environmental groups, representing those in Carlow in all relevant environmental issues.Promoting an atmosphere of good neighbourliness and active citizenship across the wider Carlow community, working towards the targets outlined in the Global Environmental Sustainable Development Goals.
