WHO WE AREThe Center for Family and Child Enrichment is a private, nonprofit, community-based organization that serves:Children who have been abused, neglected and/or abandoned;Children with severe emotional disturbances and in need of mental health care;Children in the custody of parents or relatives who are chronic runaways and/or are ungovernableThe Center for Family and Child Enrichment is committed to making a difference in the lives of the children and families we serve. We contract with a lead agency to provide community-based care services to hundreds of children each year.These include residential group care, in-home family counseling, and a variety of other services designed to achieve permanency for children in foster care. We also offer a wide array of behavioral health services for children and adolescents in the community.The Center for Family and Child Enrichment is committed to making a difference in the life of a child.​
We accomplish this by focusing on two primary areas: a) counseling and therapy services and b) family and community support programs.​OUR MISSIONHelping children and families help themselves to live a better life and build a stronger community.Each year, our services touch the lives of more than 5,000 children and families throughout Miami-Dade County.
