Central Louisiana Human Services District (CLHSD) provides mental health, addiction recovery, and developmental disability services for Avoyelles, Catahoula, Concordia, Grant, LaSalle, Rapides, Vernon, and Winn parishes.CLHSD’s Caring Choices Behavioral Health Clinics provide outpatient mental health and substance use treatment for children and adults with locations in Alexandria, Leesville, Marksville, and Jonesville. We offer mental health care including individual and group therapy, substance use, and co-occurring disorders, medication management for children and adults.CLHSD’s Developmental Disability Office in Alexandria provides the Single Point of Entry for people with developmental disabilities who are seeking supports or services from the Office of Citizens with Developmental Disabilities.Central Louisiana Human Services District staff along with our governing board, contractors, and community partners are committed to addressing any barriers to treatment while ensuring that even those with no income have access to care.
