A global fashion week founded in 2018, CFW is led by CEO and regional director Claire Namukolo Chimanda from Chester, Cheshire, who is inspired by the global "Big Four Fashion Weeks", London, Paris, and New York.This makes it the first time Cheshire has ever hosted a Fashion Week. Its first event in 2019 attracted a record number of over 300 people from all over the country, being the first time a Fashion Week has been professionally organised and attracting the largest audience in the North West (UK).The resounding response from the world of high-end retail and the fashion industry, both in Cheshire and beyond, made it a very exciting week.The team lead by Claire consists of seasonal staff with expertise in marketing, events, digital campaigns and other areas.
