ABOUT USChess for Social Impact (CSI) is one of our flagship initiative of Mendlife GlobalFoundation (Mendlife), that uses chess as a tool for education, empowerment,and nation-building. We nurture talent, build critical thinking in youth, anddevelop socially responsible citizens through the game of chess. Since inception,Mendlife has impacted over five thousands children and young adults acrossunderserved communities in Nigeria.We are proud to share that our founder, Cassandra Mendie, has been elected asthe first-ever Welfare Director of the Chess Players Association of Nigeria—areflection of her tireless advocacy for player wellbeing and grassrootsdevelopment. This win is not just for her, but for every talent who has picked up achess piece through our programs.
